As some of you have noted, I’ve worn sandals (GASP!) in this post and the previous post below.  It’s important to note that this footwear is not universally appropriate in all offices–particularly those that are more formal and/or conservative.  As always, you must alter according to your own unique work environment since appropriate office attire varies so widely across industries and geographies.  In warmer months, tailored sandals are commonplace and perfectly appropriate in many casual and creative work environments.  However, if you’re a lawyer making a court appearance, for example, I would recommend opting for something like this nude pump.  I refuse to take responsibility if the judge holds you in contempt for flagrant toe exposure in the courtroom (although that would be kind of awesome).
