Outerwear Game-Changer: The professional Puffer coat

When leaving for the office on brutally cold winter season mornings, I typically have the same argument with myself: Do I throw on my huge down puffer coat in the interest of not freezing to death and just accept the fact that I’ll look like the Michelin Man?  Or, do I throw caution (and practicality) to the wind (literally) and wear one of my much more professional, tailored wool coats?  After numerous years of agonizing over these questions each winter season morning, I’m pleased to finally report that they afflict me no longer thanks to the recent discovery of this magnificent, very elegant Ted Baker belted puffer jacket.

The synthetic fur collar and waist-cinching belt turns this comfortable puffer jacket into a ideal outerwear option for even the dressiest days at the office.  There’s also something about the shorter silhouette that makes it particularly elegant when paired with a classic pencil skirt and pumps.  If you’re not into the cropped length, check out the longer version of the same Ted Baker coat here.

Speaking of pumps, with an all-black winter season ensemble like this one, I loved adding a little extra interest with these insanely stunning pumps with a pearl and crystal brooch embellishment at the toe.  And, if you think these are pretty, just wait until you see the other three colors!  Ted Baker is on FIRE.
